Return, Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy

Introduction
At Kongsi Co-op, we strive to provide the best co-purchase, subscription, and registration experience for our patrons, customers, participants, and learners (hereinafter “the patron”). If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or registration, we’re here to help. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for return, refund, and exchange of item(s) bought from our physical and online store. This policy also includes the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of events and/or activities registered via our registration channels.
Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy for Kongsi Store (Physical and Online Store)
Eligibility for Returns, Refund, and Exchange
- The patron, upon receiving the purchased item(s), is advised to inspect the received item(s) promptly.
- All items purchased from our physical and online store are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable unless otherwise specified in writing.
- However, the patron may only apply for the return, refund, or exchange of item(s) subject to the following terms and conditions:
- The item has not been received by the patron;
- The item was defective and/or damaged on delivery;
- The item received is incomplete (e.g. missing quantity or accessories);
- The item received is faulty (e.g. item with quality issues or damaged packaging);
- By way of a private agreement between the patron and Kongsi Co-op’s authorised service team.
- Before returning the item(s) to Kongsi Co-op, the patron must ensure that:
- Request application must be initiated within seven (7) days from the date of the patron’s purchase receipt.
- Item(s) must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and with all tags (including without limitation, price tag and barcode tag) attached.
- Item(s) must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as they were on delivery, including all accessories, complimentary items, manuals, and documentation. We recommend the patron to take a photo of the item(s) upon receipt.
- Some item(s) (including but not limited to) as follows are strictly not eligible for returns, refund, or exchange (Please contact our service team for details):
- perishable item(s);
- personalized item(s);
- clearance item(s);
- bulk item(s);
- loose item(s);
- item(s) that have expired while in the patron’s possession after purchase; and
- damaged item(s) due to the patron’s negligence.
Return, Refund, and Exchange Process
- Please contact our service team at hello@kongsi.coop or walk into our physical store to initiate a request application for a return, refund, or exchange of item(s).
- Please provide original proof of purchase receipt; and
- Let us know the item(s) that the patron wishes to return and the reason for the return, refund, or exchange; and
- Prepare photo identification for the item(s) the patron wishes to return, refund, or exchange (if requested for online purchases); or
- Bring the item(s) along to our physical store (for walk-in applications).
- Our service team will review each request application on a case-by-case basis and, in its sole discretion, determine whether the patron’s request application is successful.
- Upon successful application, our team will proceed with the return, refund, or exchange process accordingly based on the patron’s application.
- For Walk-in request applications, if the request application is approved for return, refund, or exchange, the standard procedures (unless otherwise stated) are as follows:
- Return or Exchange of item(s):
- Our store associates will facilitate the return or exchange of the item(s) replacement of the same item(s) or provide an alternative similar item(s) of equal value.
- Exchange of the same item(s) is subject to item availability.
- Refund of item(s):
- Our store associates will process a refund for the item(s) in the form of a Kongsi Coupon for the patron’s use in the next purchase.
- Please be informed that the refund process may take up to thirty (30) working days to complete.
- Return or Exchange of item(s):
- For email request applications, if the request application is approved for return, refund, or exchange, the standard procedures (unless otherwise stated) are as follows:

- Please note that, if required by Kongsi Co-op, the patron will take full responsibility for the return and ship the item(s) to a location designated by Kongsi Co-op within ten (10) calendar days upon the approval of the request application.
- We will deliver the replacement for the exchange of item(s) or provide an alternative similar item of equal value to the patron’s registered address of the patron’s initial purchase at no additional cost to the patron.
- Alternatively, the patron may bring the purchased item(s) to our physical store for return or exchange of the item(s). Our store associates will facilitate the return or exchange of the item(s) replacement of the same item(s) or provide an alternative similar item(s) of equal value.
- Refund of item(s):
- Any refund for item(s) purchased via our online store will be refunded in the form of a Kongsi Coupon (Physical or Virtual) for the patron’s use in the next purchase.
- The Kongsi Coupon will be couriered or delivered to the patron at no additional cost.
- Please be informed that the refund process may take up to thirty (30) working days to complete.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Events and Activities
We strive to offer fair prices and good value for money in all our events and activities, including but not limited to seminars, workshops, and conferences (hereinafter “the event”). Therefore, our paid events are abiding by our non-refundable and non-cancellable policy to ensure the ongoing viability of the events and activities unless otherwise specified in writing.
Refund Policy
- No refund shall be given once the registration to the event has been made with payment (regardless of partial or full payment).
- No refund will be given for any reasons including but not limited to injury, illness, emergency, life-and-death matters, personal-related matters, work-related matters, failure to find a replacement to attend the event on behalf, or no show at the event.
Cancellation Policy
- No cancellation of the paid registration is allowed.
- No cancellation is allowed for any reasons including but not limited to injury, illness, emergency, life-and-death matters, personal-related matters, work-related matters, failure to find a replacement to attend the event on behalf, or no show at the event.
- However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances occurred. That means the patron may not be able to attend the event in person physically or virtually. Therefore, we are happy for the patron to transfer his/her registration to a family member, friend, or any individual as a replacement participant.
- The patron will be responsible for finding his/her replacement participant.
- We appreciate that the patron can submit a replacement participant request application in writing (including email request) to our event’s person-in-charge or organiser, at least fourteen (14) working days before the start date of the event. We will need the replacement participant’s name and contact information in the application. Our team will inquire for additional information if deemed necessary.
- Our team will review each request application on a case-by-case basis and, in its sole discretion, determine whether the patron’s request application is successful. Our team will notify the patron upon successful replacement participant request application. The replacement participant is deemed invalid without confirmation from Kongsi Co-op or its affiliates.
Our Right to Reschedule, Postpone, and Cancel an Event or Activity
- Note that some circumstances may be beyond our control that may result in necessitate substitution, alterations, or cancellation of the event. Therefore, Kongsi Co-op and its affiliates reserve the right to alter or modify the advertised event if necessary.
- Should we need to reschedule, postpone, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to inform you as much as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs incurred by the patron to attend the event.
- The patron is responsible for understanding this policy upon registering for any of our events.
- However, we realize that exceptional circumstances can take place. Should there be additional or specific policies, rules, or regulations stated specifically for an event, these additional policies and rules will supersede the general guidelines stated in this Refund and Cancellation Policy for Events and Activities.
Further Information
Please be informed that Kongsi Co-op reserves the right to disallow, refuse, or reject any return, refund, exchange, or cancellation of item(s) or registration request, even if the original purchase receipt is presented if the item(s) and registration request intended for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation do not comply with our Return, Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy.
The patron acknowledges and agrees that Kongsi Co-op’s decision is final, conclusive, and binding, and covenants and agrees that it will not bring suit or otherwise assert any claim against Kongsi Co-op or its affiliates in relation to such decision.
Kongsi Co-op reserves the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised policy shall be posted on this website. Please check the latest information posted herein to be informed of any changes.
